Sirin Labs Going to Launch Secure Smartphones for Executives

SIRIN Labs is an Israeli-led venture with its headquarters in London and initial R&D labs in both Tel Aviv and Lund (Sweden). They had lifted $72 million in private funds to launch the device, which would be aimed at executives and they launches its smartphone on May, it will be priced in the region of $10,000 to $15,000 and will have mainly one focus “security”.

The company has been established by Kazakh investor Kenges Rakishev, Israeli venture capitalist Moshe Hogeg and McKinsey, trained serial entrepreneur Tal Cohen. The phone will be based on the Android operating system and the company also added that, create the most advanced mobile device that combined the highest privacy settings, operated faster than any other phone, built with the best materials from around the world .

In 2013 Rakishev’s phone was hacked then the idea for the startup came. He asked Hogeg why he couldn’t find a mobile phone that would keep privacy and why new technology seen in tech shows and publications was not available in consumer devices. This idea clearly looks good to be to offer a military grade phone for Fortune 500 companies and with access to all the apps they will need.
