Mahindra Peugeot Scooters Specifications and Images Leaked


Mahindra plans to launch Peugeot Scooter Range in India and most of the Specifications and Images of these scooters now Leaked online. Mahindra has acquired 51 per cent stake in Peugeot Motorcycles (PMTS) through the partnership. Mahindra  expected to bring a range of Peugeot scooters in India and to be sold soon. 

Mahindra Peugeot Scooter Range includes 6 beautiful and powerful scooters including – Metropolis 400i,  Satelis scooter, Citystar, Django, Speedfight 3, Streetzone. This scooters ranging from the three-wheeled Metropolis 400i to the retro cool Django. 

Metropolis 400i

Metropolis 400i  is a top offering in this list featuring a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled 400cc engine. This powerful engine can churns out 37PS of power. This isn’t a light scooter, a little bit heavy for ladies as it weighs 278kg. There is also front and rear disc brakes for safety and stability. 

This scooter also gets  DRLs, parking brake, driver and passenger backrests and adjustable windscreen options.  Satelis scooter comes in two engine options – 300cc and 125cc engine package. It is powered by a 4-stroke liquid cooled units with automatic transmission. Safety is assured with front and rear disc brakes.

Citystar is the next model which is an upcoming 125cc scooter. Engine used in this scooter is a 4-stroke engine that makes 14PS of power on ride. It is available in both an air-cooled as well as a liquid-cooled version to choose based on customers option. This is also a heavy scooter weighs 150kg.


If you go for the liquid-cooled version there is again 5 kg more to its weight. Safety and stability is also offered by good braking with discs, both front and rear. Django is a new one in Peugeot Scooter Range with retro cool styling. Powering the vehicle is a 4-stroke 125cc engine. This is an air cooled one, and is good for 10PS of power on ride. 

The next scooter is Speedfight 3 (125cc Darkside). This is available in black, with orange highlights and graphics. It is powered by a 125cc air-cooled engine that can can churns out 10PS power and good torque on ride. The scooter is very lighter than the other scooters at 114kg. For your safety there is equipped with disc brakes front and rear.

Streetzone is the last option in this range. This is a 50cc small scooter. On appearance also this is the smallest scooter packed with a 50cc air-cooled 2-stroke engine. The engine can churns out 4PS of peak power. It is very easy to handle as it weighs 87kg. Safety is well ensured with front disc brake and rear drum brakes.
