Google updated its Gmail app for Android with support for Microsoft Exchange. You can download the latest version of the app can be downloaded from Google Play as of April 25, although Google has pointing the rollout may take a few days.
Coming version Google is adding Exchange support for covering mails, contacts, and calendar schedules for all Android devices, with Gmail v6.4. Exchange support in Gmail will allow, users will no longer require getting their work mail set in a separate app and can instead get all the features in Google’s mail client. After you done the update, from the settings menu you should add an Exchange account to Gmail by selecting add account, After choose exchange as the account type and entering your information. The company also added “Now, whether you’re on Google Apps or Exchange, you can use the Gmail app on any Android device to send and receive mail”.
