Yamaha MT-125 packed with 124.70 cc Single cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valves engine. It also offers electric start and TCI (digital) ignition. Engine makes 11.0 kW (15.0PS) @ 9,000 rpm power and 12.4 Nm (1.25 kg-m) @ 8,000 rp torque on ride. It is mated with Constant Mesh, 6-speed.
KTM 125 Duke powered by 125.00 cc 1-cylinder 4-stroke engine, water-cooled engine. It offers electric starting option. Engine mated with 6 speed, claw shifted offers 15 Bhp @ 10500 rpm power and 12 Nm @ 8000 rpm torque on ride. Duke is performance oriented and can reach 120 kmph top speed.
Dimensions, Brakes and Suspension
Yamaha MT-125 features 140 mm clearance, 11.5ltrs fuel tank, 1355 mm wheelbase etc. For safety fitted with Hydraulic single disc, 292 mm in front and rear. Suspension used is Upside-down telescopic fork, Ø 41 mm in front and Linked monoshock with spring preload adjustment in rear.
The Duke bike measures 170 mm clearance, 11 ltrs fuel tank capacity, 1367 mm wheelbase etc. For safety brakes used are Disc brake with four-pot brake caliper in front and Disc brake with one-pot brake caliper, floating brake discs at rear.
