China Suspended iTunes Movies and Books Services From Apple

China has shut down Apple’s online book and movie services in their country. The rules saying that all content shown to Chinese people must be stored on servers based on the Chinese landmass.China is the Apple’s second-largest market by revenue. Now Apple’s iTunes Movies store and its iBooks Store closed in china.


Now people in China who visits the iBooks store or visits iTunes Movies service is getting with a message in Chinese saying that services were  unusable. This were shut down from the orders of China’s media watchdog – the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television. China is also blocked the services of Google and Facebook as well.

Beijing-based Apple spokeswoman said that they hope to make books and movies available again to our customers in China as soon as possible.Now apple’s second-largest market by revenue is Greater China that includes Taiwan and Hong Kong as well.
